The Overt holster is designed to be an easy-on/easy-off, OWB holster. It's a basis "fold-over" design, like the Discreet IWB, but it is designed to easily clip over your belt with the standard paddle attachment. It can also be configured with a quick detach RTI hanger designed to be used with a variety of mounting platforms. The standard paddle attachment allows for adjustable cant. This holster is not as "form fitting" to the body as the Raduis Holster, and may require different attire to maintain concealment, however, it is an excellent choice for people with the ability to openly carry.
Examples of colors and patterns are available at www.hbcconcealment.com under the "Kydex Gallery" tab.

Over this seems to maintain the same quality build under the new ownership. If there was any downside, the holster area near the RMR cut is still dragging on the pistol slide. Nothing a little dremel surgery couldn't deal with. The new version of the TekLock works well and is much easier to manipulate with out taking the belt off just ran it through 20 hrs of constant training with no problems hiccups or failure

No surprise if you know Charles. He has gone above and beyond in the name of customer service which is normal day to day. I had a need for quality Kydex for a pistol that is of an older design and he didn’t have a mold to form the holster. He sought out some of his local contacts and found someone with the same model to make my holster. A high quality product that is a perfect fit and I look forward to years of faithful service.

I’ve reviewed HBC products before and as before, great holster! Definitely recommend!

I have purchased several holsters from HBC, all have been created for a perfect fit. Having personally watched Charles make these holsters, there is no doubt he is an perfectionist.
He does make holsters for unusual or less common firearms using the firearm itself for the mold. If it takes 30min or a hour and a half he takes his time to get it just right.
I am a former US Army Ranger as well as worked in the protection industry for then US Governtment as a “Direct hire” as well as a “Contractor” for BW, Dyn for several years both in Afghanistan as well as Iraq.
Comfort, fit, usability as well as being secure is paramount. I, as many, with age must take into consideration we are not 25 anymore, some carry methods are not practical. HBC (Charles) has options available for everyone. You just need to find the right holster to fit your unique body and your preferred carry position.
I have owned several competitors Kydex holsters. I found HBC IWB holsters are simply well thought out and keep a nice snug fit against the body. I also discovered that having Charles add an additional clip on these holsters really pulls your weapon tight agaisnt your body. I find your larger weapons this works best. Smaller weapons the standard one clip does the job. But again your body size and shape as will determine what is best.

I just opened the box with my holster and right away I knew I had made the right choice.I got this for my H&K VP30SK...not to many places make a holster for this pistol.First thing I did was try the pistol out in it and it's a perfect fit...retention was spot on,no adjusting needed at all.I think the best part is with the all the mounting holes on the back it gives many different mounting options.I ordered mine with the 1.75" wings....wish they had the 1.5"...I think that size is more common for a belt but it's all good since I was going to change those out anyways.I'm thinking that I will be looking to get more for my other HK's...which they do make for.Awesome holster and I will recommend HBC Concealment to the 2 HK Facebook groups I belong to...that's about 11K members.

Just received this holster for my M&P9 M2.0 Compact and it fit perfectly.
Customer service is outstanding, very easy to work with HBC and quick to respond to email questions. Lead time was shorter than expected. I will purchase from HBC again,

I had never heard of HBC but I ordered a P229 with TLR-8 Overt paddle holster about a week after the TLR-8 was released.
My holster was delivered less than a week later and I was very impressed; superb craftsmanship and exactly as advertised. I noticed the screw on the light was removing some kydex, didn't bother me but I emailed Charles with input on the holster and just a heads up with future designs with the newly released TLR-8. Within an hour Charles said he was sending a replacement that the screw would not touch the kydex.
So here we sit 16 days after my original purchase date and I have my SECOND HBC holster in less time than anyone else could build ONE and I couldn't be happier with it.
I will only buy HBC in the future and I will be replacing all of my previous holsters with HBC. They're just that good. Plain and simple.

I have ordered a bunch of gear from HBC and never been dissatisfied in any manner. Order process, delivery time and questions post delivery are all spot on. This time I did order the Distressed Coyote design. Better than I expected. I thing I have found my pattern for the range and carry. There may be a desire to start swapping out my previous purchases for this design.
